San Diego Restaurant Week Kicks Off This Weekend

More than 100 restaurants from Oceanside to Chula Vista are participating in the foodie-favorite week.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Foodies, rejoice! San Diego Restaurant Week kicks off this weekend.

The eight-day edible extravaganza returns Sept. 14-21, featuring exclusive multi-course menus from more than 100 restaurants across over 30 neighborhoods, from Chula Vista to Oceanside.

Hosted by the California Restaurant Association, the countywide event offers two-course lunches and three-course dinners starting at just $30, making it a great opportunity to sample the region's diverse food scene, from hidden neighborhood gems to stunning oceanfront spots.

Joanna Pearce, manager of the San Diego chapter of the California Restaurant Association, said that the event is a foodie's dream.

"San Diego Restaurant Week is the perfect occasion to showcase the restaurants in San Diego that make this county a destination for dining," Pearce told Patch. "It's truly a foodie's dream to get the best deals and steals from over a hundred restaurants that you already love or are about to discover. We can't wait to see you all exploring new spots and enjoying the classics in San Diego."

San Diego Restaurant Week takes place twice a year. The next San Diego Restaurant Week is scheduled for Jan. 25 through Feb. 1, 2026.
