• Mini golf and dining venue at Cityline Sunnyvale closes (mercurynews.com) — Downtown Sunnyvale’s Tipsy Putt mini golf and dining spot at Cityline has abruptly closed, leaving about 50 employees out of work after very short notice. The shutdown follows an ongoing rent and eviction dispute with the Cityline property owner, and the company cites economic challenges and landlord disagreements while trying to place some staff at other locations.
   

• Former Sunnyvale Resident Indicted for $90 Million Medicare Fraud Scheme (svvoice.com) — A former Sunnyvale resident has been federally indicted in an alleged scheme that sought more than $90 million from Medicare Advantage plans through thousands of false medical equipment claims. Prosecutors say the suspect, now at large, used a Bay Area company to bill for items that weren’t provided or authorized, and he could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
   

• LexisNexis Wins $23.5M DCSA Contract for Personnel Vetting Data (clearancejobs.com) — A massive new Navy contract for Lockheed Martin’s Conventional Prompt Strike missile program will send 16% of the work to Sunnyvale, supporting long-term engineering and production jobs here through 2032. The roundup also details other major Pentagon awards nationwide, from aircraft support to shipbuilding and logistics, underscoring how federal defense spending is being allocated across states.
