Proposals include new renter tax credits, expanded sales tax exemptions, and changes to Social Security and property tax relief, all now headed into tough negotiations with Gov. Ned Lamont before the May budget deadline.

ā¢ FARMINGTON Carol (Semrau) Brennan, 92, of Farmington and formerly of (newbritainherald.com) ā Longtime Bristol resident Carol (Semrau) Brennan, born in Bristol in 1933 and a 58-year Chippens Hill homeowner, has passed away at age 92. A devoted member of Prospect United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star in Bristol, she will be laid to rest in West Cemetery, with a celebration of her life planned at a later date. Ā Ā Ā
