• 3 displaced after fire destroys mobile homes in Hallandale Beach; homeowner says he broke window to escape flames (wsvn.com) — An early-morning fire at Royal Palm Mobile Home Park in Hallandale Beach destroyed three mobile homes and displaced three residents, though no injuries were reported. Firefighters battled fast-moving flames fanned by strong winds, and demolition crews later tore down the damaged units while Florida Power & Light worked to restore electricity. The American Red Cross is assisting at least one displaced resident as investigators probe the cause.
