• Armed Felon Sentenced to Over Seven Years After Marietta Chase and Drug Convictions (cobbcountycourier.com) — A man from Austell has been sentenced to more than seven years in federal prison after a high-speed chase in Marietta led to his arrest with a gun and multiple drugs. Federal and Cobb County authorities say the case, part of a national crime initiative, removes a repeat offender with prior Cobb convictions from the community for several years.
