ā¢ Industrial warehouses could put the Savannah-Ogeechee Canal at risk (wsav.com) ā Pooler residents may soon see three industrial warehouses and a new access road built beside the Savannah-Ogeechee Canal and Tom Tripplet Park, if City Council approves an ordinance on April 2. Canal Society volunteers worry the project could harm wildlife, increase runoff and traffic, and spoil the quiet nature trail many locals use regularly.
