Driver Hospitalized, Cited After Crash At Randall Road, Wilson Street: Batavia Police

The crash happened at Thursday at the busy intersection in Batavia.

BATAVIA, IL — Two cars crashed Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Randall Road and Wilson Street after a driver failed to yield to another car, Batavia police said.

The initial investigation determined a 2013 Chevrolet Captiva was driving south on Randall Road around 4:18 p.m. when the driver attempted to turn left and collided with a 2008 Buick Lucerne, spokesperson Michelle Langston told Patch.

Batavia paramedics treated both drivers on the scene before bringing the Chevrolet driver to a local hospital for additional treatment of a minor injury.

The Chevrolet driver was also issued a citation for failure to yield when turning left.
