• ‘Expect delays': Project to slow traffic west of St. Charles in Kane County (dailyherald.com) — Drivers using Burlington Road west of St. Charles should expect flagger-controlled delays starting April 6 as crews install fiber-optic cables along Burlington, Randall, and Silver Glen roads. Work will run weekdays through late May, with roads open but slowed, so Burlington-area commuters are urged to plan alternate routes and extra travel time.
