On November 22, 1994, my Mom died of cancer. In honor of my Mom, in honor of your Mom and your Dad and family members and friends who have died of cancer, and most important, in honor of those who have now survived cancer, we present Scoreboard Charities. Our store in Clarendon Hills has closed for the winter. We may reopen next summer. We now have a Scoreboard Charities sports memorabilia eBay page at HeinztaxScoreboardCharities 100% of all proceeds from the sale of merchandise, cards, artwork and other sports memorabilia will be donated to the charities from the sales in our eBay page. You can obtain pieces of sports memorabilia and sports artwork. Some day in the future, we will athlete signing events. That’s the passion of sports memorabilia collecting that I hope will produce funds for charity. In the meantime, we have now had the pleasure of presenting seven wine party events and two bourbon events that generated $1.7M for cancer research at Lurie Northwestern Comprehensive Cancer Center and camps for kids with cancer (Camp One Step). Our third annual bourbon event, "Meet Me in Manhattan, An Old Fashioned Way to Beat Cancer will continue the fun on June 13, 2024 at Ruth Lake Country Club. VIP and regular tickets will be on sale in April for the bourbon event.
