Joliet Man With Suspended FOID Grabs His Gun During Domestic: Police
Brandon Griffin, 50, was processed at the Joliet Police Department and transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville.

JOLIET, IL — The Joliet police responded to a subdivision near Ridge Road over the weekend, arresting 50-year-old Brandon Griffin on charges of domestic battery, aggravated assault and revocation of FOID Card.
According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, at 8:28 p.m. last Friday, officers responded to a residence in the 1800 block of Wesley Court for a domestic disturbance.
English said that during an argument in the basement of the home, it was alleged that Brandon Griffin pushed a woman. The victim further reported hearing what she believed to be a firearm being manipulated as she walked upstairs.

English noted that officers recovered a handgun from inside the residence. A subsequent records check revealed that Griffin’s FOID card was suspended. Griffin was taken into custody without incident.
Griffin was processed at the Joliet Police Department and transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville.
