Resident Rescued From Burning Home In Lake Forest

The Lake Forest Fire Department extinguished a house fire Friday morning.

LAKE FOREST, IL — The Lake Forest Fire Department rescued a resident from a house on fire Friday morning.

At about 9:35 a.m., the fire department received a report of a structure fire near the intersection of Middlefork Drive and Jensen Drive. When crews arrived, they saw flames coming from the roof of the residence.

They were told someone was still in the home, so crews quickly got inside to retrieve them. LFFD Deputy Chief Chris Roberts said the resident was not injured and didn't need medical attention.
