PEER Services is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. PEER Services provides community-based substance use prevention and treatment services to teens, adults and families in Northern Cook County, including Evanston, Maine, New Trier, Niles and Northfield Townships, and the north side of Chicago.

PEER Services reduces the harms of substance use, addiction and stigma by engaging youth and adults with innovative prevention programming and by supporting people on their path to recovery through holistic, evidence-based treatment. We provide affirming services to all in need, regardless of their ability to pay.

Prevention Services:
PEER Services prevention department partners with schools, local non-profit organizations, businesses, local coalitions, and others to help support the community to act as a united front in substance use prevention (SUP) and mental health support.

We provide presentations, trainings, and resources for youth, parents, community members, local organizations, and other community entities on topics such as Alcohol, Cannabis, Current substance trends, Fentanyl, Life Skills Training, Decision Making, Peer Pressure, Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), Opioid Overdose, Prescription Medications, Tobacco, and Vaping
