You Choose: What Should Skokie Do With Newly Acquired Park Land?

Skokie is asking for the public's input on what should be included in the park via an online survey.

SKOKIE, IL — The Skokie Park District recently acquired new land near the North Shore Channel, and what happens with it is up to residents.

The parcel of land stretches along the channel just south of the existing Channelside Park from Oakton Street to Howard Street.

The village is asking for the public's input on what should be included in the park via an online survey. In the survey, residents will get to vote on sustainability, amenities and programming and the results will be presented at the Aug. 19 Park District Board of Commissioners meeting.
