Man Yells 'F#$@ the Police' While Confronting Cops at Police Station
Wilmette police say the Evanston man approached the station in a boxing stance and punched out a glass door before being subdued.

An Evanston man described by Wilmette police as “a shirtless and bloodied subject” approached two police officers behind the Wilmette police station Saturday night around 7:35 p.m. in a boxing stance, yelled out “F#$@ the Police” and punched out a glass door before being subdued, according to police.
Criminal charges are pending against the 21-year-old, who is being treated for his injuries at Evanston Hospital.
“Officers engaged him in a physical confrontation in the hallway between the two doors,” according to a police report. “Investigators learned that he punched out windows at his mother’s home and her car windows in Evanston prior to walking to the Wilmette Police Station.”
Police said there had been “no contacts of significance” between police and the man prior to Saturday night.
