• Proposed FY27 town operating budget considered; debt exclusion question will be on May 9 ballot (cohassetanchor.com) — Cohasset officials have backed a $59 million FY27 operating budget that trims and “right-sizes” spending while setting the stage for a possible FY28 override. Voters will also decide in May on a $20.8 million debt exclusion for a new public safety building at 135 King St., with a tax calculator coming to the town website to show individual impacts.
