• Franklin woman accused of setting her own home on fire (nbcboston.com) — Plainville firefighters were among several area departments that responded to a serious house fire in Franklin last November, where two cats died and a home was heavily damaged. A Franklin woman has now been charged with arson in connection with that blaze and was arraigned this week in Wrentham District Court.
