• Michigan measles outbreak: State urges earlier vaccination for infants (thenewstribune.com) — Allegan County was among 10 Michigan counties with confirmed measles cases last year, underscoring why state officials are tightening vaccination guidance now. A new outbreak centered in Washtenaw and Monroe counties has prompted temporary recommendations for earlier infant MMR shots in parts of southeast Michigan and renewed reminders to watch for symptoms and check exposure locations.
