Today's riddle: Did you hear the joke about the jump rope? 🤔 (Answer below!)
• Creek girls off to 2-0 start, shut out Ogemaw (ourmidland.com) — Bullock Creek’s girls’ soccer team will visit Gladwin on Thursday for a key Jack Pine Conference showdown after starting 2-0 with strong defensive performances. Creek just blanked Ogemaw Heights 2-0, relying on steady goalkeeping and backline play, and now turns its focus to a tough Flying G’s squad that finished second in the league last year.

• Body-worn cameras no longer allowed inside Genesee County Jail (abc12.com) — Gladwin County is among several Michigan counties that, like Genesee County, bar deputies’ body cameras inside their jails to protect inmate personal information. After a woman died in Genesee County’s jail the same day a memo reiterated that rule, some residents questioned transparency, but the sheriff says the timing is coincidental and notes that fixed surveillance cameras still record activity.
