• Aspirus Iron River nurses approve new contract (uppermichiganssource.com) — Nurses at Aspirus Iron River Hospital have approved a new union contract that takes effect immediately and runs through the end of 2028, locking in annual raises and better pay for difficult shifts. After months of negotiations and protests over service and staffing cuts, nurses say the deal will help recruit and retain staff to protect quality care for the Iron River community.
