Oakland County Wellness Studio Blends Breathing Exercises With Modern Science

ORION TOWNSHIP, MI — A new wellness studio in Oakland County is combining traditional breathing exercises with modern science to improve one's overall well-being.

Breath Ambassadors, located along South Lapeer Road in Orion Township, is the nation's first dedicated 9 Dimension (9D) Breathwork studio.

9D Breathwork layers guided breathing patterns with immersive sound, music and narration that goes well beyond traditional breathing exercises.

The exercise produces deep emotional and physiological shifts within the nervous system so the body can release stored trauma.

The technique has been shown to support stress reduction, emotional processing and overall well-being.

The studio was founded by Amy Davenport in October 2024 as conversations around mental health, trauma recovery, and holistic wellness continue to grow.
