Inspired by her own medical experiences and her twin brother’s autism, she fills backpacks with calming tools and communication aids to help people in crisis. She’s now supplied more than 50 departments and welcomes community support for her project.
• Monks & Raiders Split GNAC Doubleheader (gomonks.com) — Pelham baseball fans might notice hometown pitcher Henry Paquette, of Pelham, N.H., logging 2.1 strong relief innings as Saint Joseph’s College split a GNAC doubleheader with Rivier University in Maine. The Monks took the first game 5–2, while the Raiders answered 9–5 in the nightcap. Saint Joseph’s next hosts Lasell University in a conference doubleheader this Saturday.
