$1.6M Lottery Jackpot Winner Bought Ticket In Hudson County

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — One of your neighbors may be a lot wealthier thanks to a lottery ticket sold in Hudson County this week.

The player matched all five numbers in the Jersey Cash 5 lottery on Friday night to win the $1,615,930 jackpot, the state said.

The winning numbers were 01, 16, 25, 43, and 45. The Bullseye was 16 and the XTRA was 04.

The ticket was sold at National Food Store, 75 Bleecker St., Jersey City.

In addition to the jackpot, 42 players matched four out of five balls to win $500 each. Among those winners, five also hit the XTRA to see their prizes grow to $1,500.
