HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — Four boys on motorized bikes were struck by a hit-and-run driver Monday night in Jersey City, hospitalizing three, officials said Tuesday.

The boys, ranging in age from 13 to 17, were riding on two "motorized vehicles/mopeds" just after 5 p.m. Monday when a sedan struck them and left, said the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.

Prosecutors said that all four boys — a 13-year-old, a 15-year-old, and two 17-year-olds — were taken to Jersey City Medical Center to be treated for injuries. As of Tuesday afternoon, three remained hospitalized in stable condition.
