Streets To Close As 8,000 Runners Arrive For Jersey City Race
Streets will close for travel and parking in Jersey City as 8,000 runners arrive for a 5K race this weekend.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — As many as 8,000 runners are expected in Jersey City this weekend as the New York Road Runners conduct their 5K race.
While the race is Sunday, many streets will be closed to parking and travel before that.
The following blocks will be closed to parking starting Saturday at 10 p.m.:

The course will start at Green and Pearl Streets.
Runners will head north on Greene Street and merge onto Washington Boulevard. They'll continue north then take a U-turn at Newport Parkway. Then they will follow this course: Head south along Washington Boulevard and continue south along Washington Street. Turn right at Steuben Street followed by an immediate left on to Warren Street. Take a right at Christopher Columbus Drive and head west. Take another U-turn just after Brunswick Street and head east along Christopher Columbus Drive to the finish line.
