MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Tens of thousands of customers are without power in Morris County on Friday afternoon as severe weather conditions pound North Jersey.
According to JCP&L, around 20,000 Morris County properties are without power as of 5 p.m. Friday.
Some towns can expect power restoration as late as 11 p.m. Friday.

- Boonton Town: 188 outages, restoration by 8:30 p.m.
- Boonton Township: 100 outages, restoration by 8:30 p.m.
- Mendham Borough: 114 outages, restoration by 8:30 p.m.
- Mendham Township: 287 outages, restoration by 8:30 p.m.
- Morris Township: 654 outages, restoration by 8:30 p.m.
- Morristown: 61 outages, restoration by 8:30 p.m.
- Parsippany: 831 outages, restoration by 8:30 p.m.
- Mount Arlington: 1,224 outages, restoration by 7:30 p.m.
- Mount Olive: 2,261 outages, restoration by 8:30 p.m.
- Chester Township: 125 outages, restoration by 8 p.m.
- Roxbury: 207 outages, restoration by 10 p.m.
- Jefferson: 2,795 outages, restorations by 9 p.m.
- Dover: 592 outages, restorations by 11 p.m.
- Denville: 1,422outages, restoration by 8:30 p.m.
- Harding: 1,218 outages, restorations by 8:30 p.m.
- Lincoln Park: 201 outages, restoration by 8:30 p.m.
- Rockaway Township: 3,497 outage, restoration by 10 p.m.
- Wharton: 732 outage, restoration by 7:30 p.m.
The outages are likely caused by the severe thunderstorms slamming North Jersey, with wind gusts reaching 60 mph.
