1 Taken To Hospital After 2-Vehicle Crash In Middle Island: Police
It happened at around 11 a.m., Suffolk police say.
MIDDLE ISLAND, NY — One person was taken to a local hospital after a two-vehicle crash that snarled traffic for a time in Middle Island on Friday morning, Suffolk police said.
A 2025 GMC Pickup was traveling north on Rocky Point Road when it collided with a 2021 Hyundai traveling southbound on Rocky Point Road, and then smacked into the rear passenger side of the vehicle at around 11 a.m., a police spokesman said.
The Hyundai's driver, a 31-year-old Ridge woman, was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
