Pedestrian Struck In Port Jefferson Monday Night: Police

It happened at the intersection of Liberty Avenue and Main Street at around 5:40 p.m., Suffolk police say.

PORT JEFFERSON, NY — A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and hurt in Port Jefferson on Monday night, Suffolk police said.

A 2024 Toyota struck the 27-year-old man at the intersection of Liberty Avenue and Main Street in Port Jefferson at around 5:40 p.m., according to police.

He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
