DWI Charge For East Patchogue Man After 2-Vehicle Crash On William Floyd Parkway: Police
Both drivers were taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk in East Patchogue for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police say.
SHIRLEY, NY — An East Patchogue man was charged with driving while intoxicated after he was involved in a two-vehicle crash on William Floyd Parkway in Shirley on Friday night, Suffolk police said.
The 53-year-old man was traveling eastbound on Surrey Circle, and when making right turn onto the parkway, his 2018 BMW struck a 2010 Jeep that was headed southbound, according to police.
The man, and the Jeep's driver, a 41-year-old man, were taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk in East Patchogue for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
