1. How will the middle school approval impact the district?

The tax increase will hurt a number of the Abington taxpayers. The Abington School Board has allowed the quality of education to drop while claiming that a new building will improve education. I went to Penn Charter and learned in classrooms that were over 80 years old. The building makes no difference. The teachers and the courses make the difference. The school board failed to maintain the middle school and used the problems from the lack of maintenance to justify a new building. They have lied and cheated the taxpayers of Abington.
2. What educational background do you bring to the position?
While attending college, I was asked to assist in teaching some of the programming classes. I have also taught numerous people how to use computers and software. I have been involved with robotics for over 20 years.
3. What are the biggest challenges to the school district in the future?
Getting the quality of education back while not raising the taxes. The current School Board Directors seem to think the taxpayers have unlimited money, and treat them as an unlimited bank account. This has to stop. They focus on buildings, and not the quality of the education the students are receiving. This has to change.
