Susquehanna Road Closure Starts Wednesday
Abington Police said drivers should plan detours for a stretch of the road being closed through Friday.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A section of Susquehanna Road will be closed this week for road repairs, police said.
The Abington Township Police Department said that PennDOT is planning road repairs starting Wednesday and lasting through Friday. The roadwork will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Susquehanna Road will be closed and detoured between Lindsay Lane and Mill Road, police said.

During the closure, drivers will be detoured to use Route 232 (Huntingdon Pike), Route 73 (Cottman Ave/Township Line Road), and Route 611 (Old York Road).
Local access will be maintained at all times, police said.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
