From candle-lit pumpkins to a haunted house, the last weekend before Halloween is packed with lots of fun things to do in Bucks Co.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — This weekend - the last weekend before Halloween - is all about the pumpkin.

From the artistry of Pumpkinfest in Doylestown to candle-lit pumpkins lining the Delaware Canal Towpath as part of Canal-O-Ween in Yardley, there are plenty of fun ways to celebrate the fall gourd.

This weekend, the spotlight will also be on local Halloween parades and lots of trick-or-treating. Peddler's Village is planning two fun events for the kids, while Roxey Ballet in New Hope is promising a night of fright with "Dracula's Lair."

Pumpkinfest Features Weekend Of Pumpkin Artistry

This weekend is all about the pumpkin as CB Cares brings its hugely popular Pumpkinfest to Bucks County for another year. In what’s promising to be an amazing weekend of artistry and fun, the two-day event kicks off on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 1 to 8 p.m. and continues on Sunday, Oct. 26 from 4 to 8 p.m. on the grounds of the Moravian Pottery and Tile Works off of Swamp Road in Doylestown. Highlighting Saturday's event will be pumpkin carving from 1 to 6 p.m. and Jack-o'-Lantern viewing at night. Visitors are invited to watch throughout the day as professional and amateur carvers turn pumpkins into works of art and then experience their transformation into lighted masterpieces when night falls.

Canal-O-Ween Starts Spooky Week In Yardley

In the spirit of the Jack-O-Lantern, Yardley Borough will be the jack of all trades once again this Halloween season. The borough is holding its annual Canal-O-Ween the last week of the month, starting with its Carve-O-Thon at noon Sunday, Oct. 26, in which pumpkins will be prepared to be illuminated along the Delaware Canal. Carve-O-Thon takes place at the corner of Morgan and Fuld Avenue (in the Rivermawr neighborhood north of Afton Avenue between the Delaware River and Delaware Canal).

Weekend Packed With Halloween Fun In Lahaska

From a Slightly Batty Wing-Ding to Trick-or-Treating in the village, this weekend will be packed with fun Halloween things to do at Peddler's Village in Lahaska. A Slightly Batty Halloween Wing-Ding for the kids kicks things off on Oct. 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Kids are invited to dress in their spookiest or most original Halloween costume and come on out to Peddler’s Village Slightly Batty Halloween Wing-Ding. Trick Or Treating through the village is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 26.

Dracula's Lair Brings Night Of Fright To Bucks

Roxey Ballet invites thrill-seekers, dance lovers, and Halloween enthusiasts to experience an unforgettable night of fright and artistry with Dracula’s Lair Haunted House Tour, at the Mill Ballet School in New Hope on Oct. 24 and 25 and Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. According to the folks at Roxey, this is no ordinary haunted house — it’s an immersive, spine-tingling dance adventure where guests are guided through eerie corridors, shadowy chambers, and candlelit scenes brought to life by the extraordinary dancers of Roxey Ballet.

Halloween-Inspired High Heel Drag Race In New Hope

The 21st Annual High Heels Drag Race will hit the ground running on Sunday, Oct. 26 on West Mechanic Street as part of New Hope Celebrates "OUT In October." The public is invited to watch as a gang of glamorous ghouls speed to the finish line in this sinister stiletto showdown. This year’s
theme is “Nightmare on Mechanic Street." Hosted by none other than New Hope’s Miss Pumpkin and sponsored by 94.5 PST, race participants must dress in Halloween-inspired drag costumes and wear 3-inch or taller high heels. Runners will race up the hill on W. Mechanic Street, decorate a pumpkin, and race back down the hill.
