$15M PECO Project Launches In Northampton, Warwick
PECO said the project will impact several Bucks County communities and run through August 2027.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — PECO is launching a $15 million infrastructure improvement project in several Bucks County communities over the next few weeks.
PECO said the project will be enhancing the electric distribution system in Warwick, Northampton and Warminster townships and in Ivyland Borough.
PECO said the project will help withstand more frequent and damaging storms, improve reliability by reducing the frequency of outages that cannot be prevented, and support the adoption of cleaner energy resources such as solar and electric vehicles.

PECO said trees will be removed and tree trimming work will be required.
According to PECO, the following roads will be impacted by the project:

- Ivyland — Work will occur along Jacksonville Road, Chase Avenue, Dubois Avenue, Eddowes Drive, Garrison Drive, Gough Avenue, Greely Avenue, Ivyland Road, Kirk Road, Lacey Avenue, Lincoln Avenue, Pennsylvania Avenue, Twining Avenue, Wilson Avenue, and Willard Avenue.
- Warminster — Work will occur along Ivyland Road, Kirk Road, Charter Road, Woodbrook Lane, and Vista Drive.
- Warwick Township — Work will occur along Mearns Road and Almshouse Road.
- Northampton Township — Work will occur along Grenoble Road, Old Jacksonville Road, Almshouse Road, Spencer Road, Macfarland Avenue, Neshaminy Drive, Homestead Drive, Second Street, Hatboro Road, Inland Road, Brookline Road, Traymore Avenue North, Traymore Avenue South, Jacksonville Road, Hill Road, Carter Circle, and Lincoln Circle.
All work will be performed by PECO crews and qualified PECO contractors.
During the next few weeks, qualified PECO contractor Davey Resource Group will be in the area surveying the necessary tree work.
Work on electrical equipment, including poles and wires, is scheduled to start once tree work is complete. The project is expected to be completed by August 2027.
Crews may need to temporarily interrupt electric service to safely complete some work. PECO will work with customers to ensure they are informed in advance of planned interruptions.
