Sometimes, it is about the level of caring and commitment that goes beyond the confines of a spreadsheet. Oh, and sometimes it is about the music. And the band. But more on that later. "I am at the point in my career where it is more rewarding to know that I have helped someone," Skip explains. "We have an amazing staff and wonderful associates who can provide additional help for clients who may need it." He and his staff often go the extra mile for people. Skip has always been one to see beyond a client's immediate issue. They seek ways a client may benefit from additional help or counseling as a group. "We don't have a typical office staff that arrives at eight and is out the door by 4. Each person knows they can contribute to a solution." This attitude carries over into Skip's work outside of business hours. He believes in giving back to and helping the community. "That is why I enjoy the BCBC. It's a group of like-minded people who share, help, and advise one another while committing to the local community. Oh, and the music? Skip started college as a music major. And he had a somewhat promising start. It is rumored he jammed with a guy named Springsteen back in the day before he became a rock star.
