Cardiac Medical Assistance, Please

I (28, F) was recently diagnosed with a cardiac condition, bicuspid aortic valve disease, that I was apparently born with but didn’t discover until after having multiple ER trips in the past 9 months. As a result, my aortic valve leaks, resulting in blood back flowing & enough oxygenated blood not being distributed to the rest of my body. This causes my heart to work harder to pump blood, my blood pressure spiking to hypertensive crisis levels, & me losing consciousness.

Between the hospital bills, ambulance bills, & specialist appointments, I’ve acquired a hefty amount of medical debt. I’m on a forced medical leave from work due needing to be fully cleared by cardiology & I am not eligible for FMLA benefits. I’m struggling to pay these medical bills & manage basic living expenses, all while being unable to work.

I’m at a loss for what to do. My parents are unable to provide assistance due to my mother having health problems of her own, resulting in them taking out a loan. Please, any amount helps.
