• George 'Al' Perdue (82) (mycountylink.com) — A Greenville family is mourning George “Al” Perdue, who was born in Tazewell in 1943 and passed away Monday at age 82. Loved for his Army service, NASCAR fandom, and devotion to family, he leaves behind his wife of 64 years, a son, grandson, and brothers. Visitation and funeral services are set for Friday in Greenville.
