• Applications are now being accepted for the Spring 2026 Youth Philanthropy Project (rivernewsonline.com) — Nonprofits that serve residents within the School District of Rhinelander can now apply for up to $2,500 through the Spring 2026 Youth Philanthropy Project. Funded by the Rhinelander Community Foundation and run with Rhinelander High School leadership classes, the program lets local students direct grants while learning real-world leadership and community giving skills.

• Head Start Teacher - # 3987836 (wjfw.com) — A Head Start program based at 51A N Brown Street in Rhinelander is hiring a teacher to work directly with young children and their families. The role focuses on safety, classroom instruction, developmental assessments, and parent communication, and requires at least an associate degree in early childhood education, with a bachelor’s degree preferred and Wisconsin childcare licensing qualifications.

• Kathleen Frances Thom (rivernewsonline.com) — Rhinelander and Pine Lake neighbors are invited to honor 103-year-old Kathleen Thom at her memorial service on July 16 at Nativity of the Lord Catholic Church. - Today Dave I and Ruthie (Jack Russel) took a stock up trip to the prairie Pines grocery store and then I took the gravel road next to the store to go to the Red barn which advertises retail meat.
