• Federal jury convicts Michigan sex offender hiding in Georgia hotel (fox5atlanta.com) — A man wanted in Michigan for failing to register as a sex offender was tracked by U.S. Marshals to a Doraville hotel, where he had reportedly been living since late 2024 without registering in Georgia. A federal jury has now convicted him, and sentencing is scheduled for October in federal court.
