• Betty Mizell Woolard (7/23/2026) (charltoncountyherald.com) — Folkston residents are mourning the passing of 70-year-old Betty Mizell Woolard, a lifelong Folkston native remembered for her faith, cooking, and love for family. A graveside service is set for Monday, July 27, at 10 a.m. at Sardis Cemetery, with visitation at the cemetery one hour prior. Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home in Folkston is handling arrangements.
