• LaGrange Police Department launches Drone as a First Responder program (wrbl.com) — LaGrange residents will soon see police drones responding to certain 911 calls as the LaGrange Police Department launches a Drone as a First Responder program to improve safety and response times. Remote pilots will deploy drones from docking stations around the city, streaming live video to officers while they’re en route. Police stress strict privacy policies and urge residents to sign up for Troup County emergency alerts.
