Here's what's planned (usatoday.com) — Rincon is set to host a massive new OpenAI data center at the Savannah Gateway Industrial Hub, with phased operations starting as early as 2028. The $20 billion project promises major investment in local schools, utilities, and housing, along with commitments on power use, water conservation, and transparency that could significantly reshape the area’s economy and infrastructure.
