• Cole charged with Fentanyl trafficking after drug raid finds child exposed (timesenterprise.com) — Thomasville narcotics and police officers say they seized about 60 grams of fentanyl from a Harris Street home where a 5-year-old child was reportedly exposed to contaminated furniture and clothing. Agents believe the suspect was both using and selling fentanyl sourced from out of state, and they warn the amount recovered could have endangered many Thomas County residents as trafficking and related charges move forward.

• TCC holds off late Irwin rally - Thomasville Times-Enterprise (timesenterprise.com) — Thomas County Central’s Lady Yellow Jackets, representing the Thomasville area, closed their summer schedule with a tense 4–2 win over Irwin County after surviving multiple late-inning threats. Strong pitching, key hits from Katelyn Boyer and Chloe Kindred, and clutch relief work preserved the lead as Central now looks ahead to its Aug. 1 season opener at Valdosta.
