• CSRA donations to be flown to Venezuela earthquake survivors (wrdw.com) — A Thomson-based nonprofit, In Flight Missions, is rallying local residents to collect supplies for survivors of the recent Venezuela earthquake, then driving them to Florida to be flown into the disaster zone. Founder Bryant Hernandez and volunteers say the Thomson and Augusta-area community have responded quickly, and anyone who missed in-person drop-offs can still contribute through the group’s website.
