• 2 Ga. men plead guilty in fake New York film tax credit scheme (wrdw.com) — Two Tifton men have admitted in federal court to filing fake New York film and TV tax credit claims, seeking more than $500,000 in refunds. Prosecutors say they used online tax software and, in one case, a stolen identity. Both now face lengthy potential prison sentences, with hearings set this fall in Albany.
