SAN FRANCISCO, CA — It was a sunny weekend in San Francisco, and outdoor celebrations of The Grateful Dead's 60th anniversary and "Jerry Day" cropped up throughout the city. One hotspot was Haight Street, in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood, where thousands perused local businesses, pop-up shops and vendor offerings lining the famed street.
Grateful Dead imagery could be found on apparel, window signage, stickers, flyers, as renderings on various walls and other fixtures, and in costume form.
