Ron Tirapelli Ford Customer Arrested In January Now Faces Formal Charges From State's Attorney Glasgow
Francis Sheridan Eaton has been charged with felony theft and deceptive practice. The Shorewood Police Department did the investigation.

SHOREWOOD, IL — A 34-year-old Joliet resident, Francis Sheridan Eaton, now faces formal charges from the Will County State's Attorney's Office of Jim Glasgow, accusing the Ron Tirapelli Ford customer of felony theft and felony deceptive practice.
According to this week's criminal complaint, Eaton knowingly obtained or exerted unauthorized control over the property of Ron Tirapelli Ford Suzuki back on Jan. 7, which were automotive repair services, "with the intent to deprive the owner ... and the value of the property exceeded $10,000 but did not exceed $100,000," the court records explain.
As for the deceptive practice charge, prosecutors maintain that Eaton intended to defraud Ron Tirapelli Ford in Shorewood when he "delivered a check upon a real depository for the payment of money knowing that it will not be paid by the depository, check #131 on an account of Francis Eaton with Wells Fargo Bank payable to Ron Tirapelli Ford in the amount of $13,568.22 and the value of the property so obtained, in a single transaction or in separate transactions within a 90-day period, exceeded $150."
