🚨 Petition to Stop Marijuana Manufacturer/Distributor in Downtown Lakehurst

Lakehurst Borough Council is preparing to vote on Ordinance #2025-13 on October 2nd, which would allow a marijuana manufacturing and distribution facility to move into our downtown B-1 zone — potentially at the old hardware store property.

Downtown Lakehurst was always meant to be home to businesses that serve the community and bring people together — cafés, shops, gyms, and restaurants. A closed-door industrial operation does not fit that vision.

We’re not against cannabis businesses overall, but we strongly believe this type of facility should be placed in a more appropriate location, not in the heart of Main Street.
