Massapequa Blood Drive Honors Boy Who Died From Rare Cancer
It takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Brian Moore Athletic Facility and Community Center.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — A blood drive will be held on Saturday in honor of Vinny Cusumano, a 10-year-old boy who died from a rare form of kidney cancer in 2022.
Vinny's Army, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children diagnosed with cancer and their families.
New York Blood Center and Vinny's Army are hosting the 3rd annual blood drive on Saturday. It takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Brian Moore Athletic Facility and Community Center.

Vinny’s Army is urging the community to donate blood to support pediatric cancer patients like Cusumano, who may require transfusions for their treatment.
