'Fully Engulfed' Vehicle Doused Outside Marshalls In Stony Brook: Police
No one was hurt, Suffolk police say.
STONY BROOK, NY — Area firefighters were called to a parking lot outside of Marshall's in Stony Brook after a fire broke out inside of a vehicle on Thursday afternoon, Suffolk police said.
The vehicle's owners told officers that she parked it, and went inside the store, but when she came out at around 2 p.m., it was "fully engulfed" in flames, according to police.
It was doused by the Centereach Fire Department.
