• 21-year-old man arrested after 2 injured in South Hill shooting (wric.com) — Two people were injured in a shooting Friday evening near Bryan Street and West Danville Street in South Hill, and a 21-year-old suspect from La Crosse has been arrested and charged. One victim was treated locally and released, while another was airlifted to a trauma center. Police say the incident appears isolated and are asking anyone with information to contact South Hill Police or Mecklenburg County Crime Solvers.
