• Bowdon Elementary teacher attends 9/11 Educator Institute (times-georgian.com) — Bowdon Elementary third-grade teacher Ashlee Teal spent a week at the 9/11 Museum and Memorial’s Educator Institute in New York, bringing back new ideas for local students. She’s planning a school-wide assembly, classroom lessons focused on heroes, and hands-on art projects that may even be sent to the memorial, helping Bowdon children connect personally with the history of 9/11.
